![]() To be expected, but I bought this so I wouldn't have to deal with support, and just trash it and buy a real headset if it didn't work out. I don't have a Pro v2, I have the latest kraken 2019 $50 pair. So it must be related to either the male portion of the combo connector on the headset (ie the spacing/width of the separators) or the the nature of combo splitters in general. With a laptop 3rd machine (on windows) with a built-in combo mic/headphone jack, no feedback/echo issues. I took the headphones off and covered both headphones lightly with my hands and couldn't hear any sound escaping at these volumes. But note this is not actually "loud" it's not because the actual headphone sound is reaching the mic. ![]() ![]() More noticeable when recording track 2 while playing at a higher playback volume. Then solo-play the second track to hear the wonderful echo. To reproduce, load Audacity, record yourself talking on track 1, then add/select new track #2, record (without talking) while the track 1 plays. I tried a different splitter and was able to reduce the echo, but not fully eliminate. Tried linux and windows, and 2 different sound cards/computers.
